INstalled in minutes and pairs instantly with Iris Hub. Can be immediately notofied if door is left open more than a minute. Alarm setting will not activate if any contact on door or window is open, so you don't get false alarms. Nice to know that my home is secured.
This unit will be put to use in unusual manner

This is not installed yet so I cant say how it will work but it is going inside a skylight well in my kitchen. this sky light has a window at roof level (a 2'x4' Western) and a solid 1 light vinyl window at ceiling level. (to keep grease from cooking out) The sensor is to keep track of the temperature inside.
